"Above the Prairies"

The dry prairies and a line of distant foothills of western Alberta stretch away into the distance, when seen from atop a snow covered ridge high above.

Captured on March 21st, 2010 from high on the crest of the Livingstone Ridge, the first wall of the eastern reaches of the Rocky Mountains, just north of the entrance to Crowsnest Pass, in Alberta, Canada.

Taken with a Canon Rebel XSi using a 75-300mm lens @ 75mm, f/8.0, 1/320 sec., ISO 100.
