"Snow Leopard"
Snow leopards are well-adapted to their high mountain habitats. Their fur is thick for warmth and spotted for camouflage. Their tails are also as long as the snow leopard's body for balance on the steep mountainsides and to act as a scarf on those really cold nights. Snow leopard's chests and nasal cavity are also well-developed to handle the thin, cold air of the mountains.
Photo taken at the Calgary Zoo, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
