"Tokumm Creek"
The turbulent blue glacial waters of a mountain creek flow in a series of rapids through a ravine surrounded by pine trees.
Captured at Marble Canyon in Kootenay National Park, in British Columbia, Canada.
Taken with a Canon Rebel XSi using an 18-55mm lens. No post processing.
Tokumm Creek runs through Marble Canyon which owes its name to its pale marbled limestone and dolomite walls. An interpretive trail of about a mile circles the canyon to a waterfall. Marble Canyon is spanned by several bridges, and has a small information center opened to visitors in the summer.
